Open House Dates for Enrollment Information
If you interested in obtaining information about Gateway Charter School, you are invited to attend one of our Open Houses! They will be held in the elementary school cafeteria.
April 24th at 6:00pm,
May 8th or 22nd at 6:00pm,
June 5th or 19th at 10:00am,
July 10 or 24th at 10:00am
Enrollment
Enrollment for the 2008-2009 school year is open. In the initial "Open Enrollment" period all applicants have an equal opportunity for admission regardless of submitting an application on the first day or the last day of "Open Enrollment". The Open Enrollment period is December 1, 2007 – February 29, 2008. Applications will be accepted in all grade levels. If the number of applications exceeds the number of available spaces for any grade level, a system generated, random lottery will be held to determine who is admitted.
After February 29th, applications will continue to be accepted and admission will be offered based on the order in which the application is received. If a lottery is required and your application was not submitted within the Open Enrollment window, your application will be positioned on the waitlist in the order in which it is received.
Families will be notified within 14 days of the close of the Open Enrollment period if their student has been accepted or if a lottery will be held. Families who are sent an acceptance letter will be given a specific time frame to respond. If the school does not receive a response during the time frame outlined, the applicant will be removed from the accepted list and placed on the waitlist.

The lottery is a system generated random lottery. The Lottery was processed on March 20th.
In the event that the number of applications for any grade exceeds the number of available spaces a random lottery will be held. Each student who applies during the initial enrollment period has an equal chance of being selected in the lottery. Preference will be given to siblings of currently enrolled students and employees of Charter Schools USA. Families will be notified of the lottery date and results will be posted.

Registration
Prior to the start of school families will be provided with a registration package and instructions for each child accepted.
During the day school tours are held every Tuesday from 12:30-2:00pm by appointment.
